SKëLD Tholtan has a medium-coarse grind with slightly moist texture and irregular brown colouration with lighter and darker flecks. The aroma is smoky with natural tobacco, woody, and burnt notes. Secondary notes include bread, molasses, and oats with a salty edge.
The nicotine strength is low to medium. The blend appears to use fire-cured tobacco varieties, giving the snuff its characteristic smoky profile that is the strongest note in the blend.

It's a very nice snuff that tricks the senses. I'm not a lover of cold /menthol type snuffs. And this isint cold or menthol like. Even though it is menthol like lol .. Let me explain. It's a darkish smokey snuff it's very nice, then something happens, it flip flops around. there is a menthol eucalyptus sent floating around about BUT ZERO COLD, WITH IT,,, when you get the menthol /eucalyptus sent It tricks the mind into thinking something cold is going to happen, but it never does,,, but like i said no COLD effect, it's very nice and it's kind of mind bending to me, , I've never had a snuff that tricks me into thinking I'm using a cold menthol snuff when in reality it's not menthol or cold it's just the direction the snuff goes, honestly i think it's a unique snuff a must try, there is a reason SWS is the master blender

Variety: Tholtan
Moisture and grind (I'm no expert): medium/coarse and dry
Smell in the pouch: smokey and minty
Smell in the nose: mild burn that builds and persists, same as the pouch. Super subtle menthol and eucalyptus smell but it really gets your nose running. A bit drippy again but I think because of how dry it is it goes to the back of the throat easily.
Nicotine (I feel it quite easily generally in snuffs just to set the bar): medium to high
Verdict: I normally go either "I love it", "it's ok" or " I wouldnt take it again". For me this is ok, I like it, A really subtle medicated for those that don't enjoy lots of menthol
