By weight that's 75% tobacco, 13.5% water, 7.5% salt, 1.5% sweet clover, 1.5% salmiak and 0.8% potash. A simpler version that circulated on the forum uses 65.7% tobacco, 21.7% water, 11.6% salt and 1% sodium carbonate. Wear gloves when you handle potash and salmiak.
