JIP doesn't mess around. This blend is like OG kicked up a notch, and I think of McChrystal's OG as being in the same family. This snuff is easy enough to pinch, with boxcars being only for the brave of heart.
There is a ratio of menthol, camphor and eucalyptus, and this blend leans a bit more to the eucalyptus and punches twice as hard. The tobacco is Mocha Brown, with just a few lighter tan specks, and a bit darker and more moist than OG. The moisture is sufficient to hold the snuff in the hand, making it easier to use, and the moisture in the metal tin and smaller clumps of tobacco are visible. The background tobacco I find to be weaker in this snuff, and a hair bit more drip than the OG.
The medium-fine grind makes it easy to pinch, but it is light and sharp. This is one of those snuffs that disappears into the nose fast, without resistance or drag. Do not overdo your sniff, or it will end up in your throat. The Vitamin N content of this is medium-high, so watch those pinches. There is a respectable punch of cooling agents and nicotine that deserves attention, especially in pinches, and the sharp cooling effect can be overpowering and irritating if snuffed too harshly.
Overall, an excellent snuff for the day, and in moderation, can last you all day long without a nicotine headache.
