Postillion is a fantastic snuff.
Its coarse, bit not quite as coarse as African snuff.
Its moist, but the moisture comes from fat so it sits differently in your nose.
It doesn't burn, easy to take.
It smells like many things and the flavor is greater than the sum of its parts. Its savory like a great steak, its sweet like dark stewed fruit. Its different from other British snuff and its a real real pleasure.

Fairly new to the schmalzler game. I love the old recipe, chocolaty, nutty with a light fruit and nut finish. The new recipe is pleasant! Much more fruit in the front, tropical maybe? Coconut and mango? Jackfruit comes to mind like juicy fruit gum with a lighter chocolaty finish.
I'm hard pressed to decide which is better but I can say the new blend is a gem.
