I’d say the description of this snuff is pretty spot on. I’m familiar with Cavendish from when I used to smoke a pipe. Now the reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars, and in fairness, I’m kinda methodical, and have pretty high standards, most people would say 5/5. It takes a few minutes to develop the aroma of the Cavendish which is a sweeter flavor and absolutely has cherry notes, that develops over a few minutes of inhalation. This is easily a medium nicotine hit. For the first time in years did I get that nicotine “burn” I’m weird as I enjoy that…, yes I know that’s odd. The other downside is how noticeable it lasts which is moderately short. Overall a solid snuff that I’d recommend to experienced takers looking for a easy snuff in fine texture, and like to start the day with a “clean scent” moving into stronger and more aromatic snuffs later throughout the day, if that’s your preference.

The smell out of the hole is great but once you put it in your nose has a very chalky dry scent. After that awful intake subsides the nice scent of pipe tobacco comes through but is very weak in vitamin N. I wish it was more moist and stronger.
