Gawith Hoggarth - Special M
Special M has a medium grind with medium moisture and a reddish-brown colour. Tasting notes are natural tobacco, sweet mint, and earthy undertones, with menthol present as a light, faint cooling in the background rather than a strong note.
The blend combines camphor and peppermint with a natural tobacco base. The peppermint reads as sweet rather than sharp, and the earthy tobacco notes balance the mentholated elements. Nicotine strength is medium-light, in the low-to-medium range.

I'm not sure as to why this is named as it is. Maybe due to the slight mint scent. As my nose sees this the tobacco is the star and is quite good. There is a hint of mint maybe camphor and an ever so slight hint of menthol possibly. Overall the snuff is really good. I also really like this particular style of tin. I would give 4 stars but feel the naming is misleading.
A nice little snuff that smells like a candy cane upon opening the tap tin. Similar to Bernard’s Steifeprise but without the stiffness in the breeze. Ruddy brown and well ground, this mild snuff is a gentle elixir for Holiday Parties and over indulgences of Rum Cake with Hard Sauce.
