Xiang Nether Tempest is made from green snuff tobacco that is processed without heavy fermentation to preserve lighter herbal characteristics. The blend has a layered flavour profile that begins with menthol coolness, followed by berry sweetness, then sour cream and tropical fruit notes. These transition to vanilla cream chocolate, with blueberry emerging as a final note.

The tobacco base uses minimal fermentation compared to brown snuffs, maintaining the natural herbal qualities of the leaf. The flavour sequence moves through multiple phases, with berry and tropical fruit notes balanced against creamy vanilla and chocolate elements.

Green snuff is tobacco cured to keep the leaf's natural green colour. Rather than the long, dark fermentation that turns most leaf brown and sweet, the leaf is dried and milled while close to its living state, often from candela leaf which holds a strong green through curing. The resulting powder keeps a grassy, herbal character.

The Xian range is our green snuff: a Chinese-made partially fermented base with elegant scent layers, from jasmine and osmanthus to baking bread and chocolate. The fine powder lets each scent come through cleanly on the green base.
