41 Photo White Elephant is a white snuff made from sun-dried tobacco stalks processed with alkalising agents that give the powder its pale colour. Despite the name, the powder itself is pale brown to nearly yellow rather than white. The grind is fine and the moisture is dry, and the blend has earthy, natural tobacco, and nutty notes, with an ammonia component. The aroma carries toasted bread and butter notes together with the ammonia.
Nicotine strength is extra-strong. The fine grind takes a controlled hand to use. It works as a standalone snuff and also as a blending ingredient for raising the nicotine content of other snuffs.

Mr Snuff is my go-to for all my snuff needs. The prices are quite reasonable, and I'm always happy with the products. I love the variety and I don't care what anyone says, snuff is good for your health. In the olden days the benefits were well known. And I love the idea that I am continuing a tradition, it feels very "old-timey". One day snuff may retake its place as the premier way of consuming tobacco. It'll be a bonanza for the handkerchief industry as well. ;) Thank you to the folks at Mr. Snuff!

I gave 3 out of 5 stars because I was disappointed with the customer service after placing my order. About 15 minutes after completing the purchase, I contacted the store and asked them to add my phone number to the order because I had forgotten to include it. In Germany, a phone number is often important for delivery and address verification. I was told that this was no longer possible because the order had already been shipped. However, the package did not actually leave the warehouse until several days later, so I found that response difficult to understand. I hope the store will be more flexible in similar situations in the future.

We completely understand the frustration — it does look contradictory when you're told an order has shipped but the tracking still shows 'label created' for a day or two afterwards. We'd like to explain what's happening behind the scenes so it makes more sense.
We're based on the Isle of Man, and once an order is processed and handed to our courier, the parcel travels by ferry to the UK mainland before it reaches the central Evri facility. The tracking status only updates to reflect dispatch when it's scanned into that facility, which can take a day or two after it has physically left us. So when our team told you the order had already been shipped, that was accurate - it had already been packed and passed to the courier, at which point we're no longer able to make changes to the shipment.
We do process orders within 24 hours on working days, which is why by the time you got in touch it had unfortunately already gone.
We appreciate you flagging the importance of including a phone number for German deliveries, that's a really helpful point.

Very fine grind, light color(beige/grey), not too dry..
Can be taken as is but needs some practice in snuffing technique. Aroma is ammonia and a little fishy, but almost non existent. Strong nicotine and also burn on the nose. Very good for mixing and adding a little kick to your coarser or milder snuffs.
